Quick Animation Review - Archives

It's important to get familiar with the drawing tools because Flash Animators use these techniques all the time while animating to create new body pieces for poses, breakdowns and inbetweens.

What you learn:
* How to create and manipulate line work in Flash useing the line tool and brush tool.
* Convert line to fill (paint stroke) and work it into "thick and thin" line art.

Exercise: (See "Training Exercises" in menu bar above)
* Trace various hand drawings with Flash's line tool and get a feel for the line tool functions and abilities.
* Convert the line to fill and practice changing it into a "thick and thin" style of line art.

This bear makes me laugh in almost every episode. The acting is fantastic - notice how you can always tell what the character is thinking/feeling. I first noticed Bernard on Utube over a year ago - seems to be picking up quite a bit in popularity. Great physical comedy. No dialogue. Just one laugh after another.
